Winter Beauty

The midwest was hit with an ice storm, I was safely in my home and took this picture from inside the house. The tree looked like glass with the frozen ice on it. Thank you Jamie for teaching me AGAIN how to upload my pictures. Until next blog.........

Savior of the WORLD

Jordan played Nephi in the play "Savior of the Wolrd. Our Stake celebrated 25 years since it was organized this year and this play was one of the things we did for the celebration.

some forgotten pictures

Jackson kicked Justin & Haylee out of their room one night....
.......Jordan all dressed in PINK it was homecoming week, and pink is the senior's color. I THINK HE WON personally hands down.

Our traditional picture of everyone who was there for cake and ice cream. And you all want to know where Haylee and Jackson were.....well Jackson had just had a bath and was getting ready for bed. Hope you enjoyed being home Justin.
No Picture for this one, but on Monday we went to HAPPY JOES for PIZZA. We had our favorite Taco pizza and Canadian Bacon and SOUR KRAUT pizza.....yes folks that does say sour kraut. It's Great if you like it. Haylee also put a quarter in the train machine that goes around the pizza place and if it lands on a certain sign you win ----what it lands on. Haylee won herself a small sundae.

All dressed up for church, I sure enjoyed showing Jackson off. It was also Justin's birthday we had a special salad, which has vinegar in it.....what's that HAYLEE is eating it??? Ok it was red wine vinegar

HAPPIEST THANKSGIVING

Justin Haylee & Jackson came to spend thanksgiving with us......the best week!!!
Grandma LOVED giving Jackson a bath. Looks like he enjoyed it too :)

6 random things about me

6 Random things about ME :)

1. My twin sister and I went to the emergancy room when we were still in our playpens, we were outside, and Mom saw us eating mushrooms, she thought they were the posionous kind and we had to get our stomach's pumped.

2. At night even in the summer I like what Jordan used to call "candle baths". I'd turn all the lights off and take a nice hot bath by candle light, but I found that it ruins your walls.....the smoke, so now I just take a hot bath by a night light.

3. OK OK OK so I HATED driving through the night on our family vactions....I guess I figured I wanted the kids to be comfortable. The most comfortable thing I could think of for them to wear beside PJ's were their soccer uniforms.....hence the pictures of them all dressed alike in soccer stuff :)

4. I love to spoil my kids and grandkids....doing unexpected things to surprise them. Sorry it may not be random but I am counting it.
5. My favorite holiday is the 4th of July. YES I enjoy being outside not being over the stove all day and I LOVE fireworks. Our house it the place to be on the 4th:)
6. I have stayed up WAY to late and I'm going to BED....it's 12:18 this list of random things goes for being tagged by my daugher Jamie and my daughter in law Morgan. I cannot come up with 12 for two seperate lists.

JACKSON WILLIAM JOHNSON born Sept. 7th at 2:39 p.m. We had to wait THREE weeks to go see him~~~but it was sure worth the wait when we finally got to see him and HOLD him.
It was fun all being together again. But we missed Elder Johnson. I LOVE BEING A GRANDMA

What's happening around the house

Does everyone remember our backyard? You know, the nice corn field we use to have? And, does everyone remember the movie "Field of Dreams"? And, of course you all remember the part where he knocks out some of the corn to make the baseball field? I guess that's what you could call our backyard. Only, we don't have a bunch of cars lined up down our street to play on it!

Although, our corn field is gone, we do have exciting things that are happening around our house! We have a very nice garden growing in this year! Jeremy, Morgan, and Sadie are coming in for a couple weeks and we are looking forward to making zucchini boats and other yummy things from our garden!
Finally, one of the most exciting things that is happening around the house is our wall! Dad and Jordan have been working hard this summer working on this wall, and now it 's almost done! Jamie helped with a part of the wall as well. While Dad and Jordan have been outside working, mom has been in the house cleaning up for Jamie's graduation party!

Family get together summer 2007

We spent a night in Lava Hot Springs in this thing called a YURT. It's a glorified Tee Pee!! we all didn't stay in one. The married kids had one and mom dad Jamie and Jordan had another one.
We went to the pool, here is Unlce Justin and Sadie ready to get cooled off. They had two really fun slides to go down and also some awesome high platforms. Jeremy and Morgan went off the highest one which was about 30 feet high YIKES.We then went back to our camp site and roasted mashmellows for smores. Yummy. Justin Haylee Mom Dad Jamie and Jordan then headed up to Rexburg. Look at my next post to see what for~~~~~

Jamie's Graduation

Well, she did it. After four years in Rexburg, Idaho Jamie has graduated from BYU-I in Sociology, and has a minor in Child Studies. She has come a long way since her early years at Simon Elementry. Her plans include going to Arizona for a week and a half and then~~~~ to be continued.
